I really like your picture because this picture represent hysteria. People just doing illogical things as they are feared about new things and praying for something such as god. They believe that god will help them when they pray for it.
I liked this picture because it shows that people can be so desperate for hope or something that they desire that they will look up to the sky and pray to something that they don't know for certain is actually there. Their emotions towards this figure is so strong that they truly believe someone is listening and I think this represents mass hysteria because they've been told that a god is listening so they put all of their faith into that god without knowing if what they're doing will actually benefit them or if their prayers will be answered, but they pray anyways.
